It was a heck of a ride this year. 

Thanks to all the volunteers for again making this a safe and enjoyable (OK well some were not happy with the WX) event! 

Indeed, I don't think I would be exaggerating by saying some possible critical if not fatal issues were avoided with the actions of the hams bringing the hypothermic riders into their vehicles/campers that day. 

While this is not something recommended due to possible insurance liabilities, it was not surprising due to the nature of Amateur Radio operators. 

As in: "Damn the Torpedoes" ! 

Once again Amateur Radio is well represented to the general public!
